Behind the index: the formula, in plain English
Legacy is a 0–100 score relative to everyone who has played in this league. Championships carry the most weight (35%, with runner-ups worth about a third of a title). Regular-season win rate and all-play win rate (how often your weekly score beat every other team) count 20% each, playoff appearance rate 15%, and other hardware (regular-season titles and points titles, minus last places) 10%. Rates are pulled toward the league average for short careers, so one hot season can't carry anyone. The change shows how the score moved after the most recent finished season.
